Source of Light

Source of Light Ministries is a Bible correspondence discipleship ministry. Courses are provided free of charge to children, youth and adults. The curriculum includes topics on becoming a Christian; growing in your relationship with the Lord; praying and much more.

Enrolling is easy, simply call 813-971-7648 and request a course of interest. It will be sent to you free of charge. When you have completed the course, return the “test” section by mail. The next lesson will be sent promptly.

Feeding America

The University Baptist Church and Feeding America, a non-profit food bank, have partnered to provide food for families who find themselves with an empty pantry. This ministry is without charge to those in need. This service is open to the public ONLY on the last Thursday of each month, 6:00-7:00 P.M. For more information call 813-971-7648.

Young Life

Urban Young Life ministry reaches out to middle and high school teens in the University, Sulphur Springs and Ybor City areas. Weekly clubs, annual camps, and ongoing community service projects are a vital part of this life-changing ministry.
